System Requirements and Basic Help

Introduction and support

Simple Compliance is an online portal for the management of Health and Safety information. It is ideally suited for organisations with large property portfolios and provides a simple means of managing your compliance obligations. For more information about the features and modules within Simple Compliance please click here.

To access the system you need a username and password and this will be issued to you. Please email support@simplecompliance.co.uk if you do not have a username and require one.

Full help and documentation is provided once you have logged onto the system. If you cannot login and require support please email support@simplecompliance.co.uk.

System Requirements

Simple Compliance requires a modern, standards compliant browser. We would recommend using the latest versions of Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox. Mobile versions of these browsers also work with our system.


Enabling Javascript

The system uses Javascript and so this must be enabled in your browser. Below are some hints on how to achieve this, however we also recommend you review and follow the instructions provided by your browser:


Please keep in mind that upgrading your browser or installing new security software or security patches may affect your JavaScript settings.


Microsoft Internet Explorer
  1. Select Internet Options from the browser's Tools menu.
  2. Click the Security tab.
  3. Click Custom Level in Security Level for this Zone.
  4. Scroll down to Scripting, near the bottom of the list.
  5. Under Active Scripting, choose Enable.
  6. Click OK to leave Security Settings. Click OK to leave Internet Options.
Firefox
  1. Select Options from the browser's Preferences menu.
  2. Click the Content tab (with the "globe" icon).
  3. Make sure the box next to Enable JavaScript is checked.
Safari
  1. Select Preference from the browser's menu.
  2. Click the Security tab (with the "lock" icon).
  3. Make sure the box next to JavaScript is checked.

Google Chrome

  1. Click the menu icon on the browser toolbar.
  2. Select Settings.
  3. Click the Show advanced settings... link.
  4. Click Content Settings in the 'Privacy section.'
  5. Select Allow all sites to run JavaScript in the 'JavaScript' section.
